You can increase or decrease the virtualized machine memory, as can be done with Xen?

You have to stop the VM, change the memory allocation and start it again.

There is no way to do it, like Xen, without stopping the machines? It's like going back to the stone age. :-(

As noted earlier there is no way to hot add memory/cpu on a live vm. You need to shut it down to do this.

Hot adding memory and cpu has high priority in the list of future features and is already in the roadmap for a future version.
