Comments 1 Posted In Red Hat Virtualization Online VLAN (virtual network) changing Latest response 2012-01-30T11:50:00+00:00 Is it possible to change NIC's network without VM reboot (by UI or API)? There are a lot of VLANs in our infrastructure (over 100) and we have to change VM's VLAN sometimes. To configure this, you need to shutdown the guest, edit the NIC and change its network. We will have a feature for online hotplug and hot-unplug for NIC in a future version of RHEV. Once that feature is implemeted, you will be able to hot unplug the current NIC, hotplug a new NIC which is connected to a different network.
