YUM unusable after AnyDesk install

After a junior admin "installed" AnyDesk for convenience, all further YUM usage fails with:

Error: Failed to download metadata for repo 'anydesk': repomd.xml GPG signature verification error: Bad GPG signature

What should we do to clear out the error and recover YUM usage?
