How To Upgrade From RHEL 7.9 To Specific Version Of RHEL 8

Hi Everyone

A Question regarding the upgrade process from RHEL 7 To RHEL 8, Is it possible to upgrade from RHEL 7.9 to any release of RHEL 8 ?

On RHEL 7.9 Machine when executing subscription-manager release --list I get the following output

 7.3
 7.4
 7.5
 7.6

 7.8
 7.9
 7Server

Now when I tried to run the following subscription-manager release --set 8.0, The output indicates that there's no such release for 8.0, And Yes this is normal cause the above list does not include anything related to RHEL 8, So The Question is that: Is there's any possible method to upgrade from RHEL 7.9 to RHEL 8.0 OR RHEL 8.1 OR Any RHEL 8.minor Release?

Hi Ahmed,

You can only upgrade 7.9 to the latest stable RHEL 8 edition, which currently is 8.4. I'd recommend a fresh installation though. :)
