Update Git project file using ansible

Hi,

We are wondering if it's possible to use ansible to update file we have in a git project. Specifically we are looking to create a job that will update our different sudoers files in the git dev-test repo, then create a merge request to master

Currently we are doing it manually then merging up to master repo.
