Detected hardware unit hang

Hello everyone,

I seem to be having an issue with the e1000e driver on my homeserver (Lenovo Thinkcentre M710q tiny). I've had this issue twice now so it wasn't a coincidence. When transferring a considerable amount of data (roughly 10GB), I suddenly lose connection to my server. When I go to the console I see the following message:

Apr 2 14:35:47 server01.home.local kernel: e1000e 0000:00:1f.6 enp0s31f6: Detected Hardware Unit Hang:

The only solution seems to be to press Ctrl+Alt+Del to reboot. Normally I have no issues with my homeserver and it runs fine, only when transferring a lot of data will cause this. Is this a known issue for this ethernet card and is there a fix?

Thanks,

Johan
