CIDR network 10.128.0.0/14

Latest response

Hello everyone,

Could you please me to tell me if it is possible in OCP 4.x to change CIDR network 10.128.0.0/14 by another private network like 192.168.0.0/14 ?

Best Regards

Hi DSTP,

It is theoretically impossible, even though it might technically work.

Prefixes smaller than 16 include public address that might not belong to your organisation.

Hello DSTP,

I recommend submitting a ticket with Red Hat on this matter. That being said, please evaluate if this Red Hat solution fits your situation, yet I recommend you submit a case with Red Hat with that solution too before trying what's in that solution. I'm personally not experienced with OCP.

Hi DSTP,

You may want to look at the hint given in the comments by below the solution article: How to change default serviceCIDR used by OpenShift in OCP 4.x RJ is pointing to, referrenced by Jason Boxman: Understanding the Cluster Network Operator (CNO)
