    Error Configuring Satellite 6.8

    Posted on

    Hi,
I am going through the Quick Start Guide for Red Hate Satellite 6.8. I have gotten to this step:
Install Satellite Server and perform the initial configuration:

    satellite-installer --scenario satellite \

    --foreman-initial-admin-username admin \
    --foreman-initial-admin-password redhat \
    --foreman-proxy-puppetca true \
    --foreman-proxy-tftp true \
    --enable-foreman-plugin-discovery

After it runs through everything I get this at the end:
    Preparing installation Done

Something went wrong! Check the log for ERROR-level output
The full log is at /var/log/foreman-installer/satellite.log
    Package versions are being locked.

Has anyone seen this before, or can decipher the issue from the log? Being brand new to Linux I am just not sure what might be the issue. The log file seems to big to attach, but any help would be appreciated.
