Plan to change root password

Hello,
I'm planning to change root password for all of our system which includes below. I will simply log in as root and 'passwd'.

Is there any risk or thing that I have to keep in mind and test more?
One thing I can think of it, changing root password may cause some application using encryption key of root account, is there any such application? What about HA feature? Does it use any private/public key somewhere?

Redhat 6.9 with High-Availability and Oracle.
Redhat 7 with Weblogic
Redhat 8
Windows 2012,2016 (some with SQL, IIS)
