Capsule no longer synching properly after Satellite 6.5 upgrade

My capsule server is no longer synching (it insists the latest rhel-7-server-rpms repos is 7.6 but the content view for capsule contains 7.7 content.) the content view is correct and I am synching from Satellite and doing subscription-manager refresh". It also has an error when i try to view the Capsule server inside "content hosts" on the gui, stating that a problem has occurred.

I have upgraded satellite to 6.5 but capsule is on 6.4. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall capsule again?
