Install Python 3.x on RHEL 7.7 without RHSCL

Latest response

How can I install Python 3.x on a RHEL 7.7 VM, for a proof of concept, without access to Red Hat Software Collections (RHSCL)?

My Subscription: 30 Day Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server Self-Supported Evaluation

Why do you not want to use RHSCL? Is there a restriction with the Evaluation subscription?

Hi, it seems that RHSCL is not accessible for a 30 days self serve subscription. I managed to install Python 3.6 using yum.
