Remove GUI and all associated packages

We have until recently needed to install servers with a GUI but that is not needed anymore. I would like to remove all packages associated with the Gnome GUI and desktop from our servers and make it like a minimal install. I found some methods online and ended up using this one:

It worked, but I don't know if all unneeded packages are uninstalled or if there's a Red Hat supported method for doing that.
