New redhat server configured with the DISA STiG security profile, no networking when it starts

Latest response

I have a brand new Redhat 7.6 server that was configured to use the DISA STiG security profile. When the server came up, it did not receive an IP from the DHCP server. When configured with a static IP address, it was only able to ping its local address and nothing else.

I have gone through the rules of the DISA StiG for RedHat and commented out some changes made to ICMP and SSH, but they have not had any impact.

I am also fairly new to Linux in general so I am not really sure where else to look.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
MIke
