Never mind, sorted.

Hello Barry,

RH Satellite is an application stack that is only supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server, that is why this subscription is not considered valid for your Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desktop installation.

You either need to get a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desktop subscription or reinstall your machine with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server to use your Satellite subscription.

Jan Gerrit

Hi Jan Gerrit,

"You either need to get a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desktop subscription ..." Maybe it's a typo ?
I assume you mean that Barry needs a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server subscription - right ? :)

Regards,
Christian

If he wants to keep using Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desktop as he stated in the introduction:

"I'm running Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desktop". He needs the correct subscription.

Yes, Jan Gerrit - he needs the correct subscription ... that's what I meant. :)

Christian
