Satellite is not available with the developer's subscription. You can likely get an evaluation license from Sales if you are a customer, but that doesn't sound like it's the case for you.
For a lab setup, use Foreman/Katello which are the upstream projects for Satellite 6 pertaining to provisioning and content management.
Yes, you could also use "Spacewalk" which is the upstream community project from which the Red Hat Satellite product is derived https://spacewalkproject.github.io/
Keep in mind that Satellite 6 and Satellite 5 are very different products.
Foreman/Katello - Satellite 6
Spacewalk - Satellite 5
Yes I agree with you Mike. I got this info on https://spacewalkproject.github.io/faq.html
Satellite 6 has been built from the ground-up on different and more modern technologies. Spacewalk is not the upstream for Satellite 6, and never will be.Instead Satellite 6 is a federation of several upstream open source projects, including Katello, Foreman, Pulp, and Candlepin.
Ayaz, if you wish to setup/practice on most recent release of Satellite then you would need to use foreman/katello as Mike said, otherwise, can use Spacewalk.....
I have a developer's suite, and Red Hat added a satellite entitlement of 50 clients. That being said, they charge ala-carte by the client. What others have said above offer some choices.
I'm not 100% sure how that plays out, at work, we have hundreds of clients, and our contract managers just pay the bill based on justification.
I can download satellite with my Developer Suite subscription (free) and build a satellite of my own. I've been awaiting the entitlement I registered with the 6.4 satellite beta though because I'm a glutton for punishment.
So there are options.

If you want to imbibe in the punishment, sign up for the beta of 6..4 https://www.redhat.com/wapps/try/Satellite64, but check the downloads for satellite, you may already have it available 6.3.3 or so
I do, with my developer's suite license.

I had a hands-on at Summit this year that used 6.4. Now of course, it was all pre-installed so they could demonstrate some new features so I'm sure a lot of pain points weren't there for us. The biggest improvement to me was the enormous speed increase working with Content Views, but those enhancements are available in 6.3.x which I've since upgraded to. I'm excited for the integration with Ansible in addition to what's been available with Puppet.
Hi Ayaz,
I came across this no-charge 'an introduction to Satellite' course which is worth watching... I thought that this demo may be off some help to you......... https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training/rh053-red-hat-satellite-technical-overview
Hi Sadashiva,
Thank you for the hint. You may want to share it on the (new) Red Hat Learning Community portal as well ... :)

Christian
All,
A Satellite subscription pool of a minimum of 50 comes with RHEL subscriptions with Smart Management. If you need more then 50 Satellite subscriptions you have to get in touch with Red Hat Customer Services.
In case you do not have Smart Management subscriptions, contact Red Hat Customer Services to find a solution.
