503 Service Unavailable After Deployment of CFME

Latest response

I've attempted the installation a couple of times and keep getting stuck at the same spot. This appliance is deployed via RHVM. I add the secondary disk for the database, start the VM, modify the IP address, then create the database on the additional drive. I chose N for running standalone and I end up with this configuration, which looks fine.

But whenever I attempt the next step to access the web portal to change the password, I immediately get 503 Service Unavailable with a statement of "The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."

Any ideas on what's going on here?

I figured out the issue. This error will occur when the virtual machine hosting CloudForms does not have sufficient memory allocated to the VM. The defaults for VMs, depending on your environment, are most likely 1 vCPU and 4 GB RAM, which is not the requirement of 4 vCPU and 12 GB RAM. Power off the VM, adjust the resources, and boot back up. Works properly.

Thanks.
