Release current subscription after upgrading OS.

I have had to reinstall my RHEL due to a catastrophic hardware failure. During the reinstall, I installed RHEL 7.5 instead of the RHEL 6.5 that had been installed. How do I release the subscription from the old system to the new system.

go to redhat portal with your user and credentials. go to the subscription section to check whether your "6.5" RHEL is there and remove it of that's the case.
