Unable to watch any course video

Latest response

I'm at: "https://role.rhu.redhat.com/rol-rhu", I launch the "CL110: Red Hat OpenStack Administration I" course, select Video Classroom Launch and receive the message: "Error Loading Player: No playable sources found". I've attempted this with several other courses and received the same result.

My OS is Fedora 28, updates are current.

How can I download and/or watch the video portions of the course?

Thank you.

Hi Joseph,

In RedHat, I downloaded and installed VLC videolan.org and separately, adobe flash player tar.gz file.

For adobe flash player, after downloading the tar.gz file, I extracted and copied the libflashplayer.so file to /home/myuser/.mozilla/plugins/

Hope this helps.

Joseph, this is a supported product. If the suggestion Hector recommends, submit a case with Red Hat Support. They'll likely guide you through even more steps. That being said, a quick google search produced this (ignore the "2010" in the link) info on flash player and current fedora as of the date of this post. Flash Player can be put on Fedora, if no that link, another. Try Hector's suggestion. Again, if needed, submit a case with Red Hat. Because it's a supported product, they're on the hook to help you.

Regards,

RJ
