RHEL7 reinstallation
Hi, I plan to do the system reinstallation, so would like to know before the installation:
1) Do I need to unregister the subsciption on system locally first before the reinstallation? Or there's no need to unregister the system and I can register again on first boot after the installation done?
2) Is that possible to create a local DVD with my own kickstart.cfg? If yes, then how's that? I tried to put my own kickstart.cfg into isolinux folder but failed to load. I'm not sure if the way I did is correct.
Thanks.

Hello Yong LS,
Please start with this Red Hat solution https://access.redhat.com/solutions/60959 on this very topic. I can guarantee you that you'll have a few trial runs. I'd recommend making a virtualized instance of a system where you can create the iso on the host, and then serve the iso you create in a virtual setup perhaps "KVM". "KVM" is a poor name for the virtualization that comes standard with Red Hat, and it stands for Kernel Virtualization Machine.
Look that link over, and there are a generous amount of youtube videos on this of various people doing this too. Come back here as needed.
If you are doing the type of work that falls in the category of development work (not production) you can go to developers.redhat.com and get a no-cost Red Hat server entitlement after you agree to the Usage Agreement for development purposes.

RJ
