missing downloads on customer portal

Latest response

Late last night in the download area I saw some ISO files available for download that no longer appear. For example:

Under RHEL Workstation, 7.4, Product Software tab:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4 Update Binary ISO (20180108)

Under RHEL Workstation, 7.4, Source tab:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4 Update Source DVD1 (20180108)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4 Update Source DVD2 (20180108)

The "Update" ISOs for the product variants I downloaded last night are gone; I hadn't yet grabbed the three I listed above. Is this a bug or were they pulled?

I've attached PDFs of the above download pages I created before these files disappearded.

The pdfs you have provided are for RHEL Desktop which is a different variant to Workstation.

I think you would be better to just stick with the latest iso you see on the website and apply updates with yum after you have installed the image.

Lex,

I went to the RHEL Workstation Product tab, but did not see an update disk as you mention. Here is an image of what I saw for the RHEL Workstation Product tab https://imgur.com/a/PvvHn However...

The previous screen shot was for the RHEL Workstation Product page. This next screen shot is for the RHEL Source Tab you mentioned, namely the RHEL Workstation source tab location, and here it is: https://imgur.com/a/pgKx1 This is a screen shot of the RHEL workstation source ISO location you mentioned.

I logged into access.redhat.com and went to the source tab https://access.redhat.com/downloads/content/71/ver=/rhel---7/7.4/x86_64/product-sources and was able to download the ISO files you are interested in.

Anyone reading this, here's a tip regarding download links, the downloads time out after a little time, so occasionally you have to refresh the page. But that is likely not the case for you Lex, but just saying for anyone else who comes here.

I agree with Kwong Hei Tsang, perform a yum update on your system to acquire the latest updates. Unless you have a system that can not reach the Internet and are attempting to find an update. In the years of using Red Hat, I've personally never seen an update disk in the product tab. (With the exception of a Driver update disk).

I saw your pdf file, if needed, contact Red Hat Customer Service to see if the update disk as seen in your pdf file is available, but I've personally never seen such an update disk. Scientific Linux (a derivative of Red Hat) used to offer such a disk.

Kind Regards, RJ
