Red Hat Developer Tools Not Supported by a Valid Subscription

Latest response

For some reason, after I subscribed to the devtools rpms located here

https://developers.redhat.com/products/devsuite/hello-world/#fndtn-rhel

by

# subscription-manager repos --enable rhel-7-server-devtools-rpms

I get an error in subscription-manager stating that my Red Hat Developer Tools are not supported by a valid subscription. Although, I know that I have a current subscription to the free developer program. Anyone have a clue as to why I am having this problem? All of my other subscriptions are up to date, e.g. software collections. Here is my output of

HI Matthew, try this link https://developers.redhat.com/articles/renew-your-red-hat-developer-program-subscription/ just in case you need to renew it, I'm not 100% sure that will fix the issue, if it doesn't, come back here & let us know. I suspect you've already tried this link at Red Hat regarding developers tools

Hi R. Hinton,

Unfortunately, I've tried your suggestions, and none of them have helped. :-/

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matt,

In this case I suggest that you contact the Customer Service to have a look into the problem, because you said that it was working as expected before -> https://access.redhat.com/discussions/3155021#comment-1215311 Good luck ! :)

Christian

Concur with Christian, create a case with Red Hat, sorry to hear it's not resolved yet.

I opened a case with Red Hat today. I'll keep you posted.

Spoke with Red Hat and got everything resolved. Thanks everyone!

You're welcome Matt,
I'm glad to read this. :)
