Looking for a RHEL7.4 LiveCD creation HowTo

Latest response

Hi!

I am looking for a working tutorial to create a RHEL7.4 LiveCD. The only instruction I have found is the not working one located here:

https://access.redhat.com/solutions/44483

I really need a LiveCD to checkout whether RHEL7.4 is working on a Intel NUC7i5 or not. Apparently no one can answer me this question. :(

Does anybody know a working clear step by step instruction for RHEL7.4?

The CentOS Core SIG provide the kickstarts which produce their live media, I expect you could make a RHEL one with a few modifications: https://github.com/CentOS/sig-core-livemedia

Hi! Thank you for that link! Unfortunatelly I does not work on RHEL7.4. I am getting the following error message:

================ File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/imgcreate/yuminst.py", line 139, in LiveCDYum def selectGroup(self, grp, include = pykickstart.parser.GROUP_DEFAULT):

AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'GROUP_DEFAULT'

Maybe the packages are to new or to old for RHEL7.4. :(
