Yum Server on rhel7
Hello everyone
I installed rhel7 and this server functions as yum server, I set up a repo for rhel7 and everything works properly including repo synchronization
What I am asking is whether it is possible for Rhel7 to set up a repo of Rhel6 and synchronize it in front of the Red Hat.
I also did subscribe manager in front of red hat and I see the repo related to rhel7, can also subscribe to rhel6 so that i can stencil the repo of rhel6.
Thx
David.

I've done it before using reposync, but it gets tricky, at least the way I was doing it. It will work, but the level of effort may not warrant the work. Maybe just keep a RHEL6 repo until the until the end. Or have a RHEL6 host sync repos, then push them to your RHEL7 YUM server to have the updates served via HTTPD. Just a thought or two.
It's also likely easier than I made it since I don't know all the possible ways of doing things.
Good luck.
