RH SSO

Latest response

Hello,

I am assessing the viability of using RH-SSO as an identity platform within a .Net web application landscape - is this viable?

What I haven't clearly identified from the documentation is whether the Javascript Adapter can provide a capability for RH-SSO to be used within a .net environment. I'm no Javascript expert so trying to ascertain how the adapter functions is somewhat difficult - I can see that it provides a number of functions for a client-side JS app, however it states it is suitable for HTML5 Web Apps which potentially I'm misinterpreting.

I did locate an unofficial OWIN adapter (https://github.com/dylanplecki/KeycloakOwinAuthentication) however I am very much looking for to see what is officially supported.

Hi Danny,

This guide contains information on securing applications and services using Red Hat Single Sign-On 7.1

Thanks Sam. I reviewed the documentation and I found that there is also a proxy that could be used when no adapter is available. I think we will be exploring building a bespoke OWIN adapter, somewhat similar to that detailed here https://github.com/dylanplecki/KeycloakOwinAuthentication
