Jboss 6.3: Bind each instance of server with a virtual ip in a single machine

I have multiple instances of jboss AS that are running on a single machine.
These instances can be clustered or can be completely independently of one another depending your needs.
It is become difficult to manage the offset.
How can I bind each AS to a virtual ip?

Hi Eric,

You can bind each standalone EAP instance or EAP domain host to a specific IP using the interface configuration. See the the Administration and Configuration Guide for info on how to do this:

Alternatively, you can use the socket binding groups to manage the offset of ports on a single IP address:
