Change default file browser integration

On RHEL7 desktop, when I click Places on the top bar and click home, it opens nautilus to browse files. I want to change this integration from nautilus to some other file browser like nemo or double commander. Is this possible? Some time back I remember doing this in Ubuntu machine searching from internet. I put a 3 - 4 line script in $HOME/bin folder and it used to work perfectly. But now I am unable to get this done. Can anyone help me on this?
