CUPS queue Issue.

Latest response

Hi,

I have RHEL 5.5 server where we have printers configured. But almost every end of month my printers stops printing saying that printer queue is full. And to resolve my issue I clean printers queue (/var/spool/cups) and the size is not very big. So the questions are.

What is the best way to fix this issue permanently?

1- Create a cronjob to clean the queue every week?
2- Resize the queue size. I can see that there is max size for queue?
3- is there different way to fix this issue?

Please advice.

Thanks in advance.

I found this article. https://access.redhat.com/solutions/22797 Where the solution is to set MaxJobs to 0. But the thing is I don't that parameter on the cups.conf file should I add one?

Thanks
