Updating to RHOSO 18.0.6 on RHOCP 4.18 from an earlier RHOSO version on RHOCP 4.16
Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift (RHOSO) environments that run a RHOSO version earlier than 18.0.6 only support Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP) 4.16. RHOSO versions 18.0.6 and later support RHOCP 4.18. If you plan to update your environment from an earlier version of RHOSO on RHOCP 4.16 to RHOSO 18.0.6 on RHOCP 4.18, you must perform the following steps by using the respective RHOSO and RHOCP documentation:
IMPORTANT: Extended ELS for RHOCP is not supported for RHOSO hosting and will mandate a RHOSO cluster redeployment. To avoid a redeployment, update RHOCP to the next even-numbered minor version within 18 months of the previous even-numbered minor version release, and no longer than 24 months.
