Issue

• Does RHEL 9 have inbox support for Intel QAT firmware on systems having Intel Sierra Forest processors?

Resolution

Customers wishing to use Intel QAT with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.4 on systems with Intel Sierra Forest processors need to have installed at a minimum linux-firmware-20240716-143.2 (available via RHBA-2024:6169).
