After a default installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 and Tomcat 5, why is nothing returned when I try to request a page from Tomcat via http://host5:8080?

I have installed Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 Update 3. After installation, I ran up2date to bring my system fully up2date:

# up2date -uf
