  • When trying to run yum it is failing with error [Errno 14] problem making ssl connection

Typical Cause

  • This issue can occur due to HTTP proxy in environment.

Resolution

  • Verify /etc/yum.conf for proxy entries.
  • To resolve this issue try to enable/disable
