How can I get rid of spurious audit messages in /var/log/audit/audit.log in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5?

SELinux can sometimes prevent legitimate usage of an application, and will produce audit messages whenever the application is used. If it is certain that the action being blocked is actually legitimate, the audit2allow command can be used to generate an SELinux policy to remove these messages.
