Cannot See NIS Users' Secondary Groups When Using Compat Mode in Nsswitch.conf and Connecting Via SSH in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
Issue
When executing id <user> from an SSH session, secondary groups for NIS users do not show. /etc/nsswitch.conf is setup to use compat mode for the passwd and group lines:
passwd compat
group compat
