How to enable last login of scp/sftp users with "pam_lastlog.so" module?

Last login timestamp of users connecting by scp/sftp is not logged by
lastlogcommand. -
Users are set up to connect exclusively using scp or sftp. The last connection time for these users is not registered in
lastlogdatabase.
