How to UPDATE features repository from command line ?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • We build a new version of our features.xml using jenkins, and use FMC to update the version in the profile repositories tab

eg, changing

mvn:com.redhat.features/Services/0.0.1/xml/features
to
mvn:com.redhat.features/Services/0.0.2/xml/features

  • This has the effect of ONLY updating the bundles in the feature that have new versions.

  • However, the fabric:profile-edit command does not appear to enable the ability to simply update a repository version? All we have been able to do is delete the existing repository from the profile(after removing all features), and then add the new repository version. This obviously has the effect of ALL bundles being re-installed. (and is much more complicated to script)
