engine-iso-uploader fails after replacing the RHEV SSL Certificate

Issue

  • Obtained a new certificate for HTTPS
  • Followed the Red Hat instructions here
  • engine-iso-uploader fails with this error:
# engine-iso-uploader -i iso -v list 
Please provide the REST API password for the admin@internal oVirt Engine user (CTRL+D to abort): 
ERROR: Problem connecting to the REST API.  Is the service available and does the CA certificate exist?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV) 3.x
  • Third-party SSL certificates for Apache/HTTPS
