GFS2 access blocks throughout the cluster following a withdrawl when SELinux is in enforcing mode in RHEL 6

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • One node had a GFS2 withdrawl and then all other nodes in the cluster couldn't access the file system
  • I executed gfs2_tool withdraw <mountpoint> but it never completed
  • When a node had an I/O error, the other nodes in the cluster couldn't access the file system any more

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 with the Resilient Storage Add On
  • SELinux in "enforcing" mode
  • GFS2
    • A condition is present which has resulted in a GFS2 withdrawl on one node
