GFS2 access blocks throughout the cluster following a withdrawl when SELinux is in enforcing mode in RHEL 6
Issue
- One node had a GFS2 withdrawl and then all other nodes in the cluster couldn't access the file system
- I executed
gfs2_tool withdraw <mountpoint>but it never completed - When a node had an I/O error, the other nodes in the cluster couldn't access the file system any more
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 with the Resilient Storage Add On
- SELinux in "enforcing" mode
- Run
sestatusto determine the current mode - If SELinux is not enforcing, a similar issue may be causing GFS2 blockages after withdrawls
- Run
- GFS2
- A condition is present which has resulted in a GFS2 withdrawl on one node
