Red Hat Storage is loging a lot information in the logs is almost 22gb log and the disk is 100% full
Environment
- Red Hat Storage Server 2.1
Issue
- I need free up space of our Red Hat Storage node's root directories hit 100% full.
The logs files are really high
-rw------- 1 root root 28G Jun 15 03:48 app-brick3.log-20140615
-rw------- 1 root root 8.8G Jun 18 00:38 app-brick3-.log
Resolution
- See the following command (from "gluster volume help").
# gluster volume log rotate <VOLNAME> [BRICK] - rotate the log file for corresponding volume/brick
- After you rotate the files you would be able to remove the files that is causing the issue of the 100% hit on root partition.
