How can I update my RHEL based RHEV hosts to the latest 'vdsm' of a specific RHEV release?

Issue

  • I am running RHEV 3.3 and I have to update my RHEL based hosts to the latest RHEV 3.3 vdsm packages but when I run yum update the latest RHEV 3.4 vdsm packages are installed instead.

  • How can I easily update my RHEL based hosts to the latest version of the RHEV 3.3 packages?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.x.
  • Red Hat Enteprise Linux based hosts.
