Why do I receive 'libsepol.permission_copy_callback: Module cloudform depends on permission read_policy in class security, not satisfied' when downgrading selinux packages with yum?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • After updating a system from RHEL6.0 to RHEL6.2, when trying to downgrade the selinux-policy-targeted package with yum history I receive the following message:
libsepol.permission_copy_callback: Module cloudform depends on permission read_policy in class security, not satisfied (No such file or directory).
libsemanage.semanage_link_sandbox: Link packages failed (No such file or directory).
semodule: Failed!
  • Also these modules are likely to be affected and might appear in a similiar error message:
condor, ctdbd, dirsrv-admin, dirsrv, drbd, fcoemon, lldpad, matahari,
mediawiki, namespace, passenger, permissivedomains, rhev, rhsmcertd,
sanlock, sblim, unlabelednet, uuidd, vdagent, wdmd, zarafa
