ntpdate -d shows "Server dropped: Leap not in sync"
Issue
ntpdate -d <NTP server>shows the message:
1.2.3.4: Server dropped: Leap not in sync
Server 1.2.3.4, port 123
Stratum 1, precision -23, leap 11, trust 000
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 (NTP client)
- ntp
- Spectracom hardware (NTP server)
