Is it possible for two tokens to be associated with a single UserID in Red Hat Certificate System 8.1?

Environment

• Red Hat Certificate System 8.1

Issue

• When attempting to enroll a token for a user that already has an enrolled token, the enrollment fails but TPS still adds a token entry to the Token Database.

Resolution

• Current workaround is to delete the failed token enrollment from the tokenDB through the TPS admin interface.
• Bug 1181667 has been created to address this issue.

Root Cause

• A single user cannot have two active tokens assigned.
