Issue

  • A cluster node was fenced after the other node reported "groupd PROCDOWN"
Jun  9 22:30:59 node1 kernel: dlm: connecting to 1
Jun  9 22:30:59 node1 groupd[16358]: kill node 1 - groupd PROCDOWN
Jun  9 22:31:09 node1 openais[16346]: [TOTEM] The token was lost in the OPERATIONAL state.
  • A node that was fenced shows a groupd_dispatch error right as the other node shows "groupd PROCDOWN":
Jun  9 22:30:59 node2 gfs_controld[16341]: groupd_dispatch error -1 errno 9
Jun  9 22:30:59 node2 gfs_controld[16341]: groupd connection died
