SSH works, but "create push-pem" fails with host not reachable error

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • When geo-sync is set up it tries to ping the slave before it tries to connect. iptables was blocking traffic so it would not complete, but after shutting iptables down it completed successfully.
rhs1:/var/log/glusterfs # gluster volume geo-replication geo 172.17.10.2::geo-slave create push-pem force

geo-replication command failed
