Issue

  • My cluster service with a script resource in RHEL 5 or 6 started successfully according to clustat/conga, but the software was not running
  • software managed by a cluster service and script resource failed to relocate after a failure, but cluster reported service was running

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5 (with the High Availability and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6 (with the High Availability and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
  • service defined in /etc/cluster/cluster.conf containing one or more script resources
