Member node not fenced when IO is lost to shared LUN containing GFS volume

Issue

  • When LUNs are removed from a cluster node, the node was not fenced
  • Behavior is needed for a node to be "failed" if gfs2 is offline

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
