Issue

  • Attempting to start a VM on a specific hypervisor or migrate a VM to the same hypervisor fails and the following error in present in /var/log/messages:
libvirtError: internal error ifname "vnet0" not in key map

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.2
  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.3
  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.4
  • A dedicated logical network has been assigned as the display network
