'pcs status' or 'crm_mon' shows one or more resources as "Stopped" after starting pacemaker or enabling a resource or resource group in a RHEL 6 or 7 High Availability cluster

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • There was a fence event in my two node cluster and it succeeded, but Pacemaker did not recover my resources on the healthy node.
  • When I boot my cluster, some resources are shown as "Stopped". If I try to enable or disable it nothing happens.
  • Why isn't pacemaker starting certain resources after I enable them?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 or 7 with the High Availability Add On
  • pacemaker
