Red Hat Directory Server 9.1 crash in libdb-4.7.so
Issue
Unexplained service stop.
Our directory server services have stopped a couple different times.
No errors are thrown in the logs - our monitoring catches less dirsrv processes running (4 instead of 7) and the directory becomes unavailable.
A service restart solves the issue, but it does detect an "improper shutdown" and recovers the directory DB.
System log messgae:
May 16 18:00:27 hostname kernel: ns-slapd[1844] general protection ip:7f103da43ea4 sp:6e0ed86eedc1 error:0 in libdb-4.7.so[7f103d967000+16f000]
Also seeing some unusual behavior when trying to run dbscan against the certificaterevocationlist index.
It outputs the following error message and hangs:
dbscan -f /var/lib/dirsrv/slapd-hostname/db/us/certificaterevocationlist.db4 | wc -l
*** glibc detected *** /usr/bin/dbscan-bin: free(): invalid next size (normal): 0x0000000000617930 ***
*** glibc detected *** /usr/bin/dbscan-bin: malloc(): memory corruption: 0x0000000000617ce0 ***
