How to append logs using PeriodicSizeRotatingFileHandler in EAP 6

Issue

  • Need to use PeriodicSizeRotatingFileHandler in EAP 6, but it always seems to overwrite the log file after restart, even when the append=true property has already been added.

  • Unable to append the data to server.log file after the restart of JBoss server.

  • Handler used in the custom logger overrides the old server.log file on server restart. How to resolve this issue?
